Getting strong, healthy and fit has become very popular – people even walk around in active wear when they're going to the shops. It's a trend now.
Don't even get me started on the millions of Instagram users posting every healthy meal they eat.
So, every now and then, we decide we will join the world, lose some weight and be the fittest person in the gym.
This usually happens on the 1st of January or, for some of us, every Monday. By Wednesday, you've probably already remembered how much you prefer ice-cream to workout out.
But, eventually, you'll have another epiphany that'll send you straight to the gym.
And that first day is BRUTAL.
Forget the fitness realization, you get a bunch of wake-up calls on your first day at the gym.
You're definitely not as flexible as you thought you'd be. Yoga definitely isn't just easy stretching. You certainly aren't fit enough to run for 10 minutes, let alone a marathon. And the smallest weight at the gym feels like you're picking up a fully-grown adult.
Yup – that first day is a BITCH.
