Since our gadgets and, particularly, our smartphones are pretty much what our world revolves around, it seems fair for the advertising to be honest – right?

Because buying a smartphone is basically like entering into a marriage – or maybe even worse, seeing as most people spend more time on their phones looking at their screens than they do with their spouses. 

So, honest commercials seem like the right way to go. But are they really honest?

We're not saying that cell phone commercials explicitly tell lies – but they have a sneaky way of making you think one thing when they actually mean something else.
