VIDEO OF CANADIAN DAD DEALING WITH HIS CHILD’S TANTRUM GOES VIRAL
When you're a parent, you accept the fact that you will have to deal with the most exhausting and not so fun part about parenting – the tantrums.
However, some parents don't really know how to deal with their children's tantrums at first. I mean, do you lay kicking and screaming on the floor as they do, do you just ignore them, do you give them what they want, but what do they actually want?
The only thing truly in your control is how you handle the monster called The Tantrum.
It's not always easy to remain calm in these situations, which is why parents must be praised who manage to do so.
Especially the Canadian father who went viral in a video, shared in 2018, where he was dealing with his child who was throwing a tantrum. He was a perfect example of a calm, level-headed parent who had it in control.
In the video, the father and his child were out of the car and walking back to their house. However, his two-year-old daughter was not in the mood to go inside, and she made that very clear through the tantrum she displayed.
As the father loaded in the groceries as his daughter laid flat on the ground of the driveway. The father just continued unloading the groceries and did not give her any kind of attention.
Then suddenly the most funniest moment ever takes place when it was finally time to go inside. The father continued to not give his daughter any attention, and instead, he treated her like just another grocery bag.
The father picked up his daughter by her jacket and carried her like a hockey bag. The two-year-old kept her body perfectly straight and didn't react either.
The dad's girlfriend and mother of the child filmed the video.
"I took this video from home of my boyfriend and our daughter, Juliette, who turned 2-years-old in October," she told Viralhog. He was getting back from work and her from the kindergarten. She is a little girl who loves to laugh and make others laugh. What's even funnier is that she is more than 3-feet-tall and over 37 pounds heavy and the jacket didn't break. She often does stuff like this and this is just how we love her."
What would you have done in this situation? Would you have laid down beside her? Or would you have gone full out Canadian dad?
Well, we surely know that this dad knows how to deal with tantrums – he's a hero!
