INTELLIGENT ELEPHANT TEACHES ITSELF TO PEEL A DELICIOUS BANANA

An incredibly smart Asian elephant named Pang Pha, lives at the Berlin Zoo and has developed an amazing ability to peel an overripe banana with her trunk after watching her keepers peel the fruit for her. This behaviour has not previously been observed in elephants. 

"Pha was raised by human keepers at the Berlin Zoo, who fed her peeled bananas but never taught her how to peel them: we assume she learned to peel her skin by observing humans." 

Pha likes whole green or yellow bananas, but prefers  darker peeled bananas  and dislikes brown bananas altogether. Fa also figured out how to save her bananas for later.
