KEEPING UP WITH THE KARDASHIANS ENDED AFTER 14 YEARS
After 14 years and 20 seasons, Keeping Up With The Kardashians is coming to an end. This decision was made by the Kardashian family.
On Tuesday, Kim Kardashian announced the end of an era with an Instagram post.
"We are beyond grateful to all of you who've watched us for all of these years – through the good times, the bad times, the happiness, the tears, and the many relationships and children. We'll forever cherish the wonderful memories and countless people we've met along the way."
Although the Kardashians have called it quits, there are still two seasons to air before the final goodbye.
The 19th season will launch on E! Entertainment on 17 September with the 20th and final series airing in 2021.
Radio Times reports that the docu-soap has spawned 12 spin-off series on E! including Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami and Kim Take New York, Kourtney and Kim Take Miami, Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons, Khloe and Lamar, Sex with Brody, I Am Cait, DASH Dolls, Life of Kylie, Rob & Chyna, Revenge Body with Khloe Kardashian, and Flip It Like Disick.
Over the years viewers have witnessed the Kardashian-Jenner clan growing up, getting married, divorcing, being proposed to, gaining weight, losing weight, giving birth and more.
The series is often credited for launching the careers of both Kylie and Kendall Jenner, and that of Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce Jenner.
Kylie has her own make-up range and Kendall is a successful model.
The term momager (mom manager) was coined and based on mom Kris Jenner’s role as the manager of all her kids’ careers.
