MTV VMA NOMINATIONS ANNOUNCED
Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, The Weeknd And Ariana Grande Lead the MTV VMA Nominations
MTV has announced its nominees for the 2020 Video Music Awards (VMA) on Thursday.
With nine each, Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande have the most nominations followed by Billie Eilish and The Weeknd with six nominations each.
The nominations for the most desired award for Video Of The Year are:
Eminem and Juice WRLD: Godzilla
Billie Eillish: Everything I Wanted
Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande: Rain On Me
Taylor Swift: The Man
Future and Drake: Life Is Good
The Weeknd: Blinding Lights
Like the rest of the world, MTV has recognised the effect that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on the world and the new normal we are now faced with. Two new categories have been introduced: Best Music Video From Home and Best Quarantine Performance.
The 2020 MTV VMAs will take place on Sunday the 30th of August.
