The Total Solar Eclipse that happened on Monday 21 August 2017 was one of the most phenomenal moments of this century. 

People living in North America got the best few – the rest of the world could get only a partial eclipse. But Americans got to see a magical and mystical ring in the sky that was too beautiful not to look at (well, with those special glasses on). 

As such, millions of people had the opportunity to capture the moment on camera – not just photographers but amateurs too. 

In an incredible twist, some of these amateur photographs are the best out there, with people saying that, by luck, their amateur photos have turned them into professional photographers!
