Ten tinnie hoons have had their fun day out on the water “sunk” by police as tempers reach boiling point over Gold Coast canal antics. Spurred into action by a rash of complaints from waterfront property owners, police launched into action against the youngsters who had been flaunting the six-knot limits and using their boats to spray pontoons and jetties, as well as each other. And while the kids have no doubt been grounded and will have to front a court, police have warned their parents also risk being keelhauled.
