Meet the shark whisperer, Ocean Ramsey who won the GoPro award for the most mesmerising video of herself swimming with a whale shark.
She's a super accomplished woman with an impressive CV that includes titles such as marine biologist, model and professional free diver. Her video that won the Gopro award was aimed at raising awareness towards saving Whale Sharks from extinction and she is also passionate about shark conservation saying that, "Sharks have always captured my attention because of their intelligence, beauty and how they are generally very misunderstood by mankind".
Ocean Ramsay also runs a non-profit organisation called Water Inspired which uses her amazing underwater images primarily to promote shark conservation, but also to make the public aware of other marine issues too.
Her video displays the peaceful and harmonious relationships that humans and nature have the potential of developing as well as destroying the violent reputation that sharks have been given.
