'BABY SHARK' – THE KOREAN CHILDREN'S SONG THAT'S TAKEN OVER THE WORLD
Even though this children's song is aimed for three-year-old's, it's clear the now famous Koreans Children's song, Baby Shark, has taken over the world.
"Baby SHARK, doo doo da-doo da-doo, Baby SHARK, doo doo da-doo da-doo, Baby SHARK, doo doo da-doo da-doo, Baby SHARK!"
Just in case you needed a reminder of what it is I'm going on about. Not only is it a song to get stuck in your head but the music video which can only be described as something you would see at a pre-primary school play seems to be a popular cultural artefact of our time. According to the creators in its various official versions on YouTube and other platforms (including Amazon, iQiyi, and Youk), Baby Shark has been watched 3.3 billion times. And, of course, when something is this popular the automatic response is to create a challenge right? Yep, there's a #BabySharkChallenge.

The most popular version of the song is on YouTube, featuring two small Korean children demonstrating the baby shark dance, and has racked up 1.6 billion views alone. To put that into perspective, Baby Shark is up there with the top-viewed YouTube videos such as Gangnam Style, which ironically is another Korean pop culture sensation.
Apparently, to some people, the Baby Shark song is such a big hit, a British teen spent 100 pounds on getting the 'Baby SHARK, doo doo da-doo da-doo' lyrics tattooed on her forearm. Allegedly, this was done when she was drunk... so you can imagine her regret the next morning.
Just when you thought the Baby Shark song craze was bonkers enough... check out this girl's tattoo (doo doo doo doo) https://t.co/4O7T3GDayY
