Even though cats and dogs are both popular domesticated pets, owning a cat and owning a dog is very, very different. They're often lumped together as being similar to have around the house, but that couldn't be more wrong.

If you own a cat or a dog, you'll notice their behaviour and tendencies in everyday activities that define their character. And, chances are, if you look at a cat owner vs. a dog owner – you'll see that that behaviour is completely different.

For example, if you're a dog owner, your dog probably watches you excitedly while you sleep anxiously waiting for the moment you'll wake them up and give them a tummy rub.

On the other hand, if you're a cat owner, your cat is probably sleeping on your head while you sleep – and will scratch you relentlessly if you even touch their belly.
