VIDEO: THE ROBOT TAKE OVER HAS BEGUN! WE ARE DOOMED!
Alexa has been behaving increasingly unusually lately and Amazon has no explanation for it. To be honest, it's a bit creepy thinking that someone else controls your home and hears everything you say but, apparently, the machines can now rebel and let out a spine-chilling laugh while they do it. Apparently, Alexa can laugh on command (making it a little less creepy) but lately, she has been letting out unprompted sinister laughs in the middle of the night.
Amazon assured people that one of the reasons could be that when she is given a command, she may mishear the command as "laugh", for example, when asked her to turn on the lights. But Amazon doesn't have all the answers because Alexa is laughing randomly or saying very, very creepy things even when no one is engaging with the system. Just when you think Alexa can only listen, BAM! She finds your damn keys for you. Thanks but no thanks Alexa. BYE!

- Out of the blue, late one night, without talking to Alexa for hours, Alexa said "If Chuck Norris wants you to know where he is, he'll find you. If he doesn't, you won't know until it's too late."
- I was trying to turn off some lights and they kept turning back on. After the third request, Alexa stopped responding and instead did an evil laugh. The laugh wasn't in the Alexa voice. It sounded like a real person. My wife was there when it happened and she is the only person who can drop-in. I still get chills.

- Replying bc THIS creepy thing happened last night: we got home and, totally unprompted, our Amazon Echo/Alexa started talking. And then I realised it was listing off local cemeteries and funeral homes??? I'd rather it laugh at me tbh
- Unprompted, my Alexa just said: "sure, I can laugh: tee hee". And I'm moving out now.
