There's nothing more awkward than that moment when you've already asked someone to repeat themselves three times, and you STILL can't hear what they're saying. 

I mean, are they speaking another language? Am I in the wrong fucking room or something? Are you purposefully speaking gibberish or am I deaf??

You end up feeling so awkward, that you end up just agreeing. Until you find out it was a question... and you end up mumbling something like "yes, orange".

Then everyone looks at you like YOU'RE the reason for confusion.
