Even if you don't like babies, it is the best friends obligation to be the cool uncle that spoils the child with unnecessary things. Of course, things are hard to get used to at first and being the designated babysitter when mom needs a night off. Of course you have to do all the things mom doesn't let them do at home and of course, teach them a couple bad habits along the way. But it also makes you realize how difficult it is to take care of a child when after only a couple of hours, feels like days and when you give the baby back to your friend, you collapse on the couch in a heap of exhaustion.
Although it changes the friendship in a lot of ways, being the fun aunt/uncle can be pretty rewarding.
