WHY TOM HANKS INTERVIEWS ARE THE BEST

Tom Hanks is one of the legendary actors of our time. In fact, he is the only actor to have won the Oscar for Best Actor two years in a row. His second Oscar was for probably his most famous role ever, Forrest Gump, in 1995.

The year before that, though, he won the Best Actor Oscar for his portrayal of a gay person living with AIDS in Philadelphia.

While he is a brilliant actor, he is also known for being a lot of fun during interviews.

He has impersonated everyone from Elvis to Jay Leno… in front of Jay Leno.

During an interview, he once described how foreign paramedics rescued him after a skiing accident. With the paramedic's accent being similar to Arnold Schwarzenegger's accent, Hanks said it felt like the Terminator himself was going to pop his shoulder back in.

Once of his funniest impersonations was when he impersonated the Iron Lady. During an interview on The Ellen Show, his impersonation of Margaret Thatcher was spot on, well if you're able to look past the hilarious wig.

Whether you're a Tom Hanks fan or not, you've got to hand it to the guy. He's a brilliant actor and a whole lot of fun when doing interviews.
