VIDEO: ARE MEN AND WOMEN TREATED DIFFERENTLY ONLINE?
I think we can all pretty much guess the answer to this one... men and women are treated COMPLETELY differently online.
But, to test it out, this man and woman used Periscope – a live video streaming app where anyone can tune in and comment on the action. They both did the exact same things on the Periscope app so they could compare the comments and reactions they get from the world.
Well, it's already safe to guess that the amount of people commenting or watching was WAY higher when it came to the woman's live stream. Not all for the right reasons though...
While the man had very little interaction or comments, the woman mostly just got boob comments even when she was literally doing nothing.
"Nice boobs"
"Show me your boobs"
That kind of stuff.
Poor guy, he basically just got "dafuq" comments!
