The day you move into your college dorm, you're filled with excitement. You've got your awesome new bed sheets, all the posters for your walls and even a lamp for your desk.

But, right next to the excitement is a soul-sucking pit in your stomach as you hope you can make friends and, basically, hope your roommate isn't a complete psychopathic loser.

But we lie! Trying to fit in, we pretend to be friends with everyone - showing no evidence of our intention to completely avoid them for the next three years.

Imagine if you just straight-up said to the guy next door, "I'm only talking to you because you have a fake ID". Ouch.
