The stages that babies go through, and the things they do during those stages, are pretty fucking weird. But we don't think about it that way when they're young. We think it's cute and we're happy to see our children developing and growing.

So when they suck on random objects, we laugh.

When they play peek-a-boo, we look at them with joy!

But imagine if adults had to do these things - imagine if your colleague started sucking on your laptop. When does the novelty wear off? Because I'm pretty sure those guys wouldn't get a giggle, they'd get a damn job suspension.
