The idea of a promotion makes you excited because you'll be getting more... More work, of course, but more recognition too. More responsibility but, best of all, more money.

But what happens when you just get more of the first, and none of the second. What if you get more work, more responsibility, more pressure – without more recognition, benefits or money.

That promotion becomes a pain in the ASS, and that excited, naive face of yours drops to a disappointed frown.
