THE EPIC AEROPLANE FAIL THAT TOOK OVER TWITTER
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are considered one of Hollywood's sweetest couples and have received a lot of attention since the announcement of Teigan's second pregnancy. Teigan is an avid tweeter and is quick to update her fans about all her adventures and this particular incident was no different.
Teigan and Legend were flying from Los Angeles to Tokyo on All Nippon Airways (ANA) but it didn't go as smoothly as the couple would have liked. What appeared to be a minor misunderstanding resulted in an entire plane of people having to turn around halfway through a flight and multiple people being investigated by the police.
It sounds way more dramatic than it actually is. A traveller booked a ticket from LA to Tokyo on United Airlines but somehow bypassed all security systems and accidentally landed up on the ANA plane, travelling for four hours before realising that he was actually on the wrong plane. Since both flights were travelling to the same destination it would be logical to just carry on with the flight, right? Well, according to the law, the airline staff were required to turn the whole plane around back to LA just for one passenger. This obviously resulted in the ANA plane literally flying in an 8 hour circle to return to where they left.
Most people would be highly annoyed by this seemingly futile inconvenience but the couple seemed to take it with a smile while Teigen live–tweeted the whole thing. Her tweets just got more hilarious by the minute!
