Being able to speak multiple languages is a valuable skill that most people (and employers) would kill for. When we go to school and are forced to learn multiple languages, we fight back and do anything we can just to get through, to never look back again. Once we leave school and reminisce, we realise what an amazing opportunity we left behind but, those wise few people who managed to hold onto it and become bilingual adults, hold many benefits over others – one of them being able to talk about someone without them knowing.

Although speaking about people behind their backs is never something to be proud of, we can all be pretty petty sometimes. Then, there’s that terrifying, gut wrenching, heart stopping moment that someone happens to catch you out and knows exactly what you are saying. You freeze, eyes wide like a deer in headlights. Don’t worry, it happens to more people than you thought... just ask Charlize Theron. Although we kinda feel like she'd be forgiven in the blink of an eye!
