In some cultures, being pale is more attractive. It doesn't come without its fair share of issues though. The embarrassing moment you have to actually put on a costume and the light literally reflects off of your skin or when even your lightest friend's base looks like a self–tanner that is just ten times too dark for you.

The sun is just not an option and there are only two shades that match your skin, blinding white or lobster red. Wearing black today? You know Halloween was 2 months ago right? Good Marilyn Manson costume though! When you do wear black, not only do you look as if you are ready to attend a funeral, you actually look like the deceased!

Formal dresses are great and stockings look so good with them but, when you are that pale, "nude" looks more like "sheer brown". You can forget about adding that flattering lighting for your selfie... it ends up just being a pair of floating eyes and your pale ass face just disappears!
