VIDEO: THE GREATEST IMITATOR IN THE WORLD – THE CHAINSAW SOUNDTRACK TECHNIQUE
The Lyrebird is one of two ground-dwelling bird species that live in Australia. The bird is best known for its beautiful, patterned tail and its ability to mimic any sound they hear. They generally live in the forest, but those that are in sanctuaries are exposed to many more sounds than the forest dwellers, making their imitations unique and scarily accurate.
They are known as natures greatest impersonators and their songs are absolutely mesmerising. Nature really can be incredible and beautiful. But, for something a little crazy, check out the Lyrebird imitating sounds and calling mates with their elegant song.
Male Lyrebirds tend to mimic sounds more often than females, both in the hope that they'll woo the ladies and also to claim some territory. What's not quite clear is why exactly mimicking a chainsaw, quite unbelievably LITERALLY a chainsaw, would make any female swoon.
Of course, it didn't take long for the trolls to catch on and start with their editing skills.
Honestly, considering they're from Australia it's actually quite nice to know they're not going to try kill you.
Anyway, let us know what you think in the comments below!
