VIDEO: YOUTUBE'S FAVOURITE COUPLE ANNOUNCED THEIR SPLIT
YouTube's funniest couple, Liza Koshy and David Dobrik, have announced some devastating news that has fans crying (probably as much as Liza did). The couple officially announced their break up over a YouTube video. We will let that sink in for a bit.......

The painful six minute video with a bit of humour that comes so naturally to the pair, showed both of them were hurting. They both admitted that the break up had been initiated by Liza six months ago but they didn't feel comfortable enough to announce it to their fans until now. “Liza broke up with me because she felt like we’ve been distant because we’ve been so busy. As much as I hate to admit it, I was feeling it on my side too, but I just don’t have the balls to pull the trigger on that,” David said.
The video started off in the usual fun and light-hearted way that the world had become so accustomed to seeing, but Liza soon got teary and David joined in on the waterworks soon after, admitting that Liza had been working through some difficult issues. They tried their hardest to make the video a bit more light-hearted but failed miserably and now we are miserable too.
“All jokes aside,” Dobrik said, “we are broken up.” She added: “This is going to sound so lame but I really want to spread love but I have to have it first. It’s like saying you’re going to spread mayonnaise when you only have mustard.”
"You never know what could happen, but just not now."
They both admitted the pressure of their YouTube careers keeping them from spending time with each other had been a factor in their split.
Videos of their funny adventures and comedy bits have earned hundreds of millions of views. Their YouTube channels combined have more than 20 million subscribers. Tassilo Labuzinski, the founder of branding company, Socially Powerful, doesn't foresee any concerns regarding their split impacting their YouTube careers in any way. "I don't see the break-up being a negative thing for either of them," Tassilo tells Newsbeat. "I think it's oversimplified to say they are the Posh and Becks of the internet and they only come as a package."
He also believes fans of the pair's "tongue in cheek, quick and witty" content would be understanding if they got back together. "The couple are free to take it any way they want," he adds. "They could make another video and say; 'Look, we've actually decided we love each other too much and we want to be together,' and that's going to get more attention. I don't think there's going to be a negative backlash on them in any form."
Obviously, fans all over are ugly-crying in their bedrooms and giving up on love because, if David and Liza weren't made for each other, then who is?
