WOMAN DISCOVERS HIDDEN MESSAGE IN THE '23-19' FROM MONSTERS, INC. AND BLOWS THE INTERNET’S MIND
We have all seen the classic animation movies such as Lion King. However, we have to give props to the writers of the film, as many of the jokes go right over our heads.
It's usually the case that, when we rewatch these movies after a couple of years or as an adult, we pick up on the humour we missed the first couple of times.
This was the case for one woman named Fyiya when she was watching the Pixar movie, Monsters, Inc.
We have all heard the part where the monster, George Anderson, comes out of a child's room with a white sock stuck to his back, and suddenly one of his colleagues yells out "We have a 23-19!"
The CDA then appears to tackle the situation to decontaminate George after he came into contact with an item from the human world by shaving his fur off.
However, yes we thought that 23-19 is just a reference in the animated movie, however there is a hidden joke some of us has yet to discover, and Fyiya has solved it.
Fyiya thinks she's figured it out and shared her realisation in a TikTok video. In her video she starts to say; "Oh my god. I was today year's old when I realised when I used to watch Monsters, Inc. I used to be like 'what the hell is a 23-19?'
The 23rd letter in the alphabet is W and the 19th letter is S.
Standing for white socks. Yep.”
Her video soon went viral, and has been watched over 400,000 times. The video received more than 23,000 likes and hundreds of comments.
Many shared that they also couldn’t believe that they figured it out. One viewer commented; "I'm also today years old,” and another added; ”I did not know that."
"You learn something new every day,” wrote a third.
"That just blew my mind," another viewer commented.
A few others added some interesting facts about the significance of the numbers 23-19.
A viewer revealed that "2319 is in all Pixar movies because it's the Studio number that the producers start off in."
"It's also the code for copyright infringement law and hidden in lots of movies that have broken it,” added another.
