WOMAN INVITES SWEET MOUSE SHE MET TO JOIN A TINY PICNIC

During her visit to her parents, Brighid Rose learned that she wasn’t the only little visitor at her parents’ house. However this was a very different sort of visitor. A tiny mouse has been making himself at home.

The sweet mouse has been scavenging for food inside her parents’ cabinets. Brighid’s parents desperately wanted to get rid of the tiny mouse. They hoped that their cat was up to the task of catching a mouse. However, after spotting the mouse during her stay, Brighid decided to take a much gentler and nicer approach.

“I scooped him up and brought him out to the field behind their house.” But instead of parting ways she decided to show a bit more kindness. "I felt bad just leaving him in the field, especially since he must have been used to eating all that human food in my parents' cabinets. So I brought him a little goodbye picnic."

Brighid used the perfect napkin as a picnic blanket and set out some food such as grapes for him to snack on. And boy, little mouse loved it. "It was really sweet. He let me sit next to him for over an hour. He seemed very happy to me."

After having a nice meal, the little mouse found a new cozy place nearby. Brighid left the sweet mouse some more snacks to help him get back on his feet after being back in the outdoors.  

"I have always just really loved animals. I didn’t really think too hard about it. Like, I should do this for him! It’s not his fault he’s a little mouse in a big world! It was so cute! Definitely made my day."
