When the owls are howling and flying around with ‘witches brooms’,
Then you know we have entered Halloween season. School network administrator Eric Lind shared a hilarious yet rare sighting during the Halloween season.
A neighbourhood owl has been busy with his own little adventure flying around with a child’s hobby horse. It looks just like a wicked witch on her broomstick.
“Current situation at my parents house…..the young neighbourhood owl has stolen this stick horse and is flying around the neighbourhood with it. Hilldale/Forest Park/Ridge lane neighbours…if your child is missing their stick horse, you’ll have to talk to the owl!!”
Maybe the owl was feeling left out and wanted to join in on the annual costume dress up or maybe the spookiness of the season and wanted to tag in on scaring a few people himself.
Lind pointed out that the owl did not appear hurt as he would have called the appropriate authorities if that were the case.
“For those of you questioning if the owl is hurt or entangled in the stick horse….we have no reason to believe this is the case as we witnessed the owl moving the horse around and even changing its grip on it at one point.”
