THE NEW WEIRD BARBIE RELEASED BY MATTEL

It's easy to see why people flock from all over the world to see Greta Gerwig's Barbie movie. From the fluorescent pink set to the playful outfits, it's packed with visual treats from start to finish. In addition to the many "typical" Barbies and Kens on screen, there was one character who clearly stood out from the rest. It's a strange Barbie. Mattel has released custom-made dolls based on characters from this quirky movie.

Just like Kate McKinnon's screen version, the official Weird Barbie doll boasts quirky outfits and face paintings. She wears a bright pink dress with puff sleeves and some abstract designs on one side. Her dress is paired with matching pink stockings and green and black snakeskin boots. 

The quirky Barbie look is rounded out by a short hairstyle with pink and blue strands. Overall she looks like a movie doll with a bit too much play. 

Strange Barbie has a flexible body that allows her to take a variety of poses, including her spread legs. It doesn't stand on its own, but it comes with a doll stand so you can stand it up and display it. Each doll comes in Barbie the Movie collector's packaging and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
