VIDEO: INSPIRATION TRULY IS EVERYWHERE
Ever feel so confident that you could happily strut your stuff up that Victoria's Secret runway?
Well, this guy does and he owns it! It started out with him mocking the ridiculousness of modern fashion but he has actually become famous for it. He's even been dubbed "The Mixmaster of Fashion" and has actually become a fashion designer in Thailand. Apichet Atirattana is a 17-year-old boy who creates chic outfits from everyday material and objects in his environment, he claims that his aim is to teach “people to see that ugly things that don’t seem to go together can become something beautiful,” he says. “And that looking good doesn’t depend on money.” The outfit that led him to fame was a full–length dress made out of traditional Thai checkered cloth and, after the dress became famous, he was invited to appear on multiple talent shows – he was even invited as a guest on Asia's Next Top Model as an influencer and an inspiration to others to break the mold and create a unique style. From mosquito nets to bamboo branches, Apichet shows us that the sky is the limit.
Not only can he strut his stuff up the catwalk like no one's business, he can also create outfits that would put Hollywood designers to shame.
