Lie detectors use the rhythm of your breathing and heart rate to reveal whether a person is lying or telling the truth based on the changes that occur in these measurements. It is used by law enforcement officials to discover facts from witnesses as well as determining whether or not someone is guilty. People generally feel more paranoid when hooked up to a lie detector and probably think "don't breathe too hard dude, they will know!".
This office decided to use it as an extra feature in the hiring process. Once the potential employee had gone through the interview process, they get tested on a lie detector and asked questions such as, "have you ever stolen from an employer?". But it takes a hilariously awkward turn when questions get a bit more personal.
But if your career depended on it, wouldn't you be inclined to tell even a small white lie?
