MOTHER FACE PLANTS DURING SCHOOL’S PARENTS' RUN AND ACCIDENTALLY FLASHES CROWD
A mom who recently had an embarrassing moment herself, managed to take the idea of embarrassing parents to a whole new level after she face planted on the ground during a race at her daughter's school sports day, and managed too moon the crowd.
The 36-year-old mother, Katie Hannaford, was left red faced after her fall on 15 June, flashing all parents, students and teachers who was apart of the school’s sports day. Katie’s eight-year-old daughter really wanted her to part take in the run, and even convinced her to do it at the end. Although she’s probably regretting that decision right about now.
The hilarious video shows the mother lining up in the third lane from the left. The crowd eagerly cheered the participants on as they start the race, which at first took a good start. But, only seconds into the race Katie loses her footing and trips headfirst into the field. However, the embarrassing moment didn’t stop there, as the fall left left her light blue dress over her head, flashing her whole bum to the crowd. A number of kids can be seen in the background swiftly turning around once they realised what happened.
But luckily, homeware company owner Katie saw the funny side in the whole story. Even though she was mortified at first, she now finds the whole thing 'hilarious'.
"I'm not sporty at all, but my daughter kept begging me. In the end I agreed to the race – I knew I'd come last."
She continued: "I just tripped over my own feet – I think my body was just moving too fast for my legs! I'm so clumsy, I'm always falling over. I was humiliated at the time, but it is what it is! I flashed my underwear which is obviously embarrassing but you just have to own it. Looking back, it's hilarious – definitely the funniest thing I've ever done in my life!"
She found it so funny, in fact, that she shared the clip on her Facebook page, writing: "When the kids got more at sports day than they were expecting! Haha.If you can’t laugh at yourself then what’s life about ay! Sorry kiddo’s and anyone else watching!"
But not to long after she shared the hilarious video, it started racking up hundreds of views and comments.
"I think this is a 'crack'ing good effort posting this and a great view for the kids," commented one viewer, while another said, "Omg Katie more I watch it more I laugh."
