FAMILY TOUCHED TO SEE NEW PUP VISITING SAME SPECIAL SPOT IN YARD

Sweet dog named Burleigh had brought joy and love to the hearts of Michelle Buckley and her family for 17 long and happy years. Sadly, the dear pup passed away last August. Buckley wrote at the time, “Burleigh, we love you so much. Thank you for all the love you gave us.”

Burleigh was laid to rest in a quiet corner of the Buckleys’ backyard nearly a year ago. However, the pup’s love still lingers on today. 

The Buckleys decided a couple of months ago that it may be the right time to open their hearts and home to a new pet. They welcomed their new puppy named Dougie who was born shortly after Burleigh had passed. But not long after, the family came to realise that the two pups might share a mysterious connection.

They started to notice that Dougie had a specific place he visits in the garden each morning. Dougie would always head to the same spot - the site of Burleigh’s grave. “We have such a huge yard for Dougie to explore, yet every morning for about an hour he sits calmly here, right where Burleigh is buried.”

The reason why Dougie is drawn to the spot isn’t quite clear, however Buckley’s has a guess. “It seems like he knows.”

Dougie, who never met the pup his family loved before him, seems to share an unexplained connection Burleigh. Seeing it firsthand, his family can’t help but feel moved. “He must sense something,” Buckley wrote and added, “He is the sweetest puppy and he’s healing our hearts.”
