TAYLOR HAWKINS SON JOINS FOO FIGHTERS ON DRUMS IN TRIBUTE TO FATHER
The late Foo Fighters star Taylor Hawkins‘ 16 year old son Shane, paid tribute to his father by joining the Foo Fighters filling his dad’s shoes.
During MusiCares concert on September 3 at Wembley Stadium in London, Shane joined the band onstage to perform a heartfelt rendition of the band’s hit song “My Hero”. Shane wowed the crowd with a heartfelt performance in honour of his dad.
"Ladies and gentlemen, we have one more drummer that's going to come up and play with us. And let me tell you, I don't think I've ever seen anyone hit the drums as hard as this person, but beyond that, he's a member of our family. And he needs to be here tonight with all of us, and I think it makes sense that he's going to come up and play with us tonight,” frontman Dave Grohl said before welcoming the teen to the stage to play My Hero.
After an amazing performance the music prodigy Nandi Bushell also joined the band to blow the crowd away on drums to play “Learn to Fly”.
