THE ENCHANTING WISTERIA TREE TUNNELS IN JAPAN
Japan is known for its lush cherry trees, but that's not the only enchanting beauty the country has to offer. Wisteria trees with hanging vines add the perfect touch of a painting to the fairy-tale landscape. These plants grow in different colours. Purple is the most common, but you can also find shades of pink, blue, white, and yellow hanging from Wisteria twigs. Are you crazy about Wisteria yet? If so, consider a trip to Ashikaga Flower Park north of Tokyo.
There are over 350 wisteria trees here, some of which are nearly 150 years old. The park also features a beautiful 82-foot natural tunnel lined with flowers and thousands of square feet of wisteria trellises. A virtual stroll through the gardens will quickly set off your wanderlust.
