You have probably heard of some animals raining from the sky. But how true can this be? In a darkly humorous episode of SciShow, which is hosted by Stefan Chin, they explain several possible reasons as to why certain animals might rain from the sky.
Some of these reasons include the possibility of a mass death of animals who fly overhead in a unified attempt to avoid predators, weather-related issues which could see Florida iguanas falling from trees in cold weather. Other possible reasons are the return to home in masses, or the collective search for a new one.
“As strange as it seems, animals fall from the sky sometimes. even ones that don’t belong there in the first place. from fish to spiders, these phenomena have been known for centuries but in many cases we still don’t know where the heck all these animals came from.”
