When you walk down the Champs-Élysées in Paris, you can discover a surprising new sight. French luxury brand Louis Vuitton is celebrating its collaboration with Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama by decorating various locations around the world with iconic polka dots and life-like animatronics.

This special installation coincides with the launch of Louis Vuitton's capsule collection inspired by Kusama's creative work. These stores range from subtle additions to the storefronts and interiors to surreal additions to the buildings themselves. Perhaps most notable is the giant portrait of Kusama hanging outside Louis Vuitton's flagship store in Paris. He seems to have painted numerous films covering the facade, placed on the roof of an Art Deco building with one arm hanging from the window.

But that's not the only place you can get Kusama's transformation. The Louis Vuitton store in Tokyo recreated its windows in the style of Kusama pumpkin art, with a black polka dot pattern on a warm yellow background covering the walls and floor. And at the Fifth Avenue location in New York, you can see an unusual animatronic with Kusama art inside the window. From a distance, he appears almost identical to the artist and moves with slow, deliberate movements. You can blink your eyes and move your lips to enhance the effect.
