CELEBRITIES TAKING HALLOWEEN COSTUMES TO THE NEXT LEVEL
Halloween has been celebrated for many years all over the world. Some of the people annually participating are many different celebrities who share and surprise the world with amazing costumes. Some, like supermodel Heidi Klum, are known for putting their best foot forward in the makeup department. Some people enjoy the comedic side of the holidays. (This year, many celebrities got especially creative in light of the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike and union directives to avoid wearing TV and movie characters as costumes.)
Some celebrities baulked at this request and wore what they wanted, but some (like Sarah) Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. didn't wear costumes at all. From ultra-realistic animals to fellow celebrities, we've rounded up some of the most memorable looks from this year's Halloween costumes. Singer Janelle Monáe surprised her followers by turning into a chameleon on Instagram. The performers' faces are fully masked to look like reptiles, as well as matching colour-changing costumes. In a similar theme, Klum also dressed up as an animal, a colourful peacock. A group of 10 Cirque du Soleil performers posed for bright tail feathers while Klum wore an all-blue bodysuit and face makeup to give the impression that she had a beak. But not all celebrities have shown their wild side. Many were inspired by famous movies. Kim Kardashian and her daughter North West looked super chic in matching plaid outfits as Cher and Dionne from the hit 1995 movie Clueless. Meanwhile, British singer Adele sported a dramatic makeup look that made her the perfect Morticia Addams from the Addams Family.
